Living Room Rehab

This old farmhouse is full of history and ready to catch up to the 21st century! Thomas gutted the living room, put up new drywall, added additional electrical outlets, and installed vibrant canned lighting. He also replaced the rotted old casing on the gorgeous picture window. Most importantly, he milled new trim for windows, doors, and baseboards, to match the original craftsman style trim in the rest of the home. To preserve the historical integrity of the home, he used shellac to dye the wood, emulating the process that was used on the original trim.
